in response to everyone who’s emailed me to buy a poster in the last year: now you can. i’m trying to maintain an equal balance of imagery for people who like my statement-driven work, the more erotic stuff, and the just-plain-pretty.
almost none of this work has been seen in any other format. enjoy!
pop trash update, courtesy of your guinea pig host:
sally hansen nail chromes don’t work. neither do revlon’s. they do, howver, give you a really lovely dull-metallic finish that lasts forever (which is two weeks in nail color time).
cookie puss makes the best face colors ever. meant to be used as eyeshadow, but paint on lips with a clear gloss cover and it’ll never come off. add a bindi and you’re golden.
after many frustratiing ohmigod-where’d-my-eyes-go incidents, i’ve found the perfect eyeliner: revlon colorstay. you gotta scrub it off. comes in eight colors.
go forth, my children, and be rilly cute.
i’m adding new wearables. go do.
su: “don’t assume. it makes an ass out of uma thurman.”
it just occurred to me last night that nobody’s seen me in a while, and i had to furnish a self portrait for speak up, where i am now an author. so. here. if you look closely, you can see a hint of mine and su’s enormous nail polish collection behind me.
as i mentioned a while back, i’m now an author at speak up. from now on, i’ll be cross-posting links here to discussions i start there, as i think a public forum is more appropriate than this blog for design and marketing specific posts.
new at speak up: is kaletra right for you?
my longtime friend chaz wilkin, who owns automatic art and design and prototype, has a magnificent book of his collage work being released soon. go buy now. you won’t regret. his handmade work is refreshing in an industry endlessly bombarded with digitalia (like, um, mine).
it occurred to me a couple of days ago: i turn 33 on friday, and i feel thusly (mp3, 912k). i’ve posted this one before, but it’s too cute to let go unheard.
objects of desire shows you the designer lifestyle on a shoestring budget. requires assembly amd your own sense of cultural commentary.
from thelvin cabezas, a story of a little girl with boundless joy, imagination, and energy…but her father wishes she’d just go to bed. so sweet.
you’ll need quicktime and a broadband connection (or a lot of patience) to see the full story, but the website has several images for those who’d rather take a smaller sample.
this designer (via boingboing) is my friend zoe. this dress is my favorite of her pieces. if you have anything nice to say to her, please do. i’ll more than likely be fielding a giddy fashion designer tonight at smartbar. congratulations on the writeup, hon.
and yes, zoe’s clothes look as nice on the body—any shape body—as the do in photography. consider buying something.
